This is a really well-made costume. It doesn't feel cheap--it seems like something that can be worn many times. I made sure to wash the red overdress first since some of the other reviews mentioned the dye bleeding onto the white underdress. I originally ordered the XXS/XS, but this was a little too tight for me. I am 5'4" and about 125 lbs. The S/M size fit a lot better.I love the versatility of this costume, it can be renaissance, a witch, a princess, an old timey western, so many options. The quality for the price is great, and this blue is gorgeous. I am 5'4", 135 lbs, large bust (34E/FFF) and the large fit perfectly. I could probably have sized down for a little less bulk on the white underdress but its not too long and the blue dress cinches up nicely. Thank you so much, this will be used so much for years to come!For reference, I am 5 feet and 8 1/2 inches tall. I am about 185 pounds. I bought a size L/XL and it fit perfect. I chose this dress because it is good quality and most affordable. I took away one star because by the end of the day, some of the coloring of the second outer layer blead onto the dress that was layered underneath. To be fair though, it was very hot outside. This dress held up very well. Compared to the other dresses I saw, it was not too hot and it did not feel like I was wearing too many layers. I also like how you can adjust the strings for it to fit tighter or looser depending on how you want it to fit. The length was also good. Overall, 4 out of 5 stars.It’s made really well doesn’t feel like a cheap costume! The white dress is super stretchy and flowy & fit just fine. The red dress has adjustable strings to tighten or loosen so that’s great as well. I’m inbetween a 2x-3X and the 1x-2x fit just fine especially since I’m bigger up top it fits around my chest just fine and is flattering! Excited to wear this. Also I’m 5’7 and the white part hangs just on my foot a little so you’ll see feet but the red part is longer and touches the floor if worried aboutLength.This is the nicest Renaissance costume I've ever bought. It fits perfectly and is nice and light, which is important especially where I live in South Georgia, but not so sheer that it is see through. I would definitely buy from this line again. I love it! I have a large bust and it adjustable to my size and fit.this dress is popular on amazon and several shops selling the same one. However, the dress from this shop fits closest to true to size, I'd recommend buying the size you normally wear. Other shops selling the same dress you have to buy a couple sizes up to fit you. I wear a large/XL is various things 16s and 18s in pants. This dress fit me, it was adjustable in the tops of shoulders, in the back and the front. The material feels like silk, its not stretchy but I gave 5 stars for stretch because its adjustable to different body types, and the only place see through was the top and you could see my bra on close inspection, But it was mildly see through and non offensive in any way. The dress may look better if choosing to wear a petticoat underneath, but still provides form and shape without one. I did not wear a petticoat. It blossoms out right at the waist giving that bell shape that you want for these medieval dresses, even without the petticoat. Some people said that the dress was long, I'm 5'2 and it was only a little bit long, but still doable, especially since that era dresses were long and dragged the ground. I'll have to hold up my skirts a little bit when walking. If I were to hem this dress I'd only bring it up maybe an inch, no more than 2 with fabric tape and that would work, I think. For ladies unsure of what size to get, here are my measurements, I have a 35 inch waist and 40in bust, the majority of my weight is at hips/butt/thighs and breasts. 38or 40dd. I'm 5'2, around 200lbs. It was snug but fit well.The pink I wore and was a gorgeous color. It was a size medium/large and was a little big but I loved cause it was a little longer. Hits right at my ankle. I’m 5’8 and 140lbsMy daughter is in the green dress and this was my favorite color! She ordered the XS and she wears a size XS in womens and is 5’3.This is definitely not your cheapo WalMart costume. Seriously. I would love to wear this every single day! Well-made, adjustable in several ways, beautiful color, and feels great on. I will definitely be ordering from them again! (P.S.
