I got these boots for my husband who is an 8.5-9 Wide. The box came with no indication that it was Wide at all. The length runs small so my husband cannot wear them and could barely shove his foot into them. I gave them to my Son-in-Law who is a size 8 regular. It fit him perfectly. He is thrilled with them, says that they are very comfortable and have a pretty cushy insole. Per my inspection, the workmanship was beautiful. The leather was nice, the stitching very even, and the sole had sturdy, non-slip treads. It had a very nice steel toe feature which was shaped well. Too many steel-toe boots look like cups at the end of your feet. Given that they run small and narrow, I would suggest buying a size or maybe even two up and buying the wide. These are beautiful boots if they fit you. I would have given them a grand 5-star review if they ran true to size.I ordered these boots to give to my son, who has a foot size of 13-W. When they arrived, although marked 13, they looked smaller than I expected. So, I tried them on.I am size 11-W. They fit me perfectly. The definitely would not fit him in length. From the markings, I cannot tell whether they are W. The bottom of the boot only says 13.I have never had a pair of boots. I love these. To top it off, immediately upon putting them on, they started giving me relief for a sciatica condition that I have had for the past month. Two days later, the relief persists.I would give this a five plus, were it not for the size issue, since they are a five plus for me. Because of the size issue, I am awarding four stars. I have read the five-star review by Chris Hale, and I agree with it as to the subjects it covers.I wear size 9.5 shoes, and tried these boots in size 10. As soon as I put them on, it squeezed my instep so tight, it hurt to wear them.If you have small (narrow and small instep) feet, maybe these will work for you.If I were to size up, there would be too much space in other parts of the boot.So I think this is designed for a certain type of small foot structure. Maybe this is really a ladies boot?I feel bad giving these 3 stars because it was my first time trying boots, but I wore these to work for one day and my feet hurt so bad I had to switch back to my old shoes, and you can’t put insoles in them either without ripping the old ones out, also I’d recommend getting wide toe regardless of what you normally wear.My husband got these and they seemed like they were good quality. Unfortunately, they were too small to even get his foot all the way in them and he ordered the wide sizing. Make sure to size up! I hope this was at least somewhat helpful!Let my youngest son test these. They have become his go to footwear. He says they're super comfy, unusual for steel toes. They're heavy duty, protective boots, made for work and outdoor protection. They look great, the leather is high quality and the color is great. Nice thick lug soles for grip and stability.Overall, just a really nice, heavy duty pair.of boots. Highly recommend!Got for my nephew and he loves them . Steel toe bootI was excited to receive these boots, because I wanted them as a pair or motorcycle riding boots. Once I had a chance to try them on, I soon realized that the cut of the boot was too tight across the top of my foot - my instep was too high.I was able to get my foot in, but it was just too uncomfortable to leave them on. I tried different thicknesses of socks, but nothing worked - so it was clearly not for me. And now I have to figure out what to do with these.In the meantime, you should know that the materials, assembly and appearance of these boots are all top-notch. The steel toes are one of the things that attracted me. I also like the uppers with two sets of holes near the top you can use to pull the boots on.I had to deduct stars because the cut simply will not work for everyone, as I said above, these boots will not work for you if you have a high instep, even if you order the correct size.
