Victorian Rococo Gothic Gown - Elegant Antique Maiden Dress for Theater Costume, Historical Reenactment & Gothic Party | Perfect for Renaissance Fairs, Themed Events & Cosplay

This dress is gorgeous and well made for the price. I am usually a 12-14 but I purposely ordered a 3x because I didn't trust their size chart, I didn't want to deal with returning it and I'd rather have too much dress and be able to alter it than too small. After all that I didn't need to do that because the dress came true to size. The dress has a corset back and no zipper so it could be tightened to your particular size. It came with a small black lace masquerade mask. There is boning and breast cups in the chest, a nice lining, some crinoline and a slip underneath. I need a strong hip pannier hoop skirt to create the look for an 18th century gown that I'm going for. With the included crinoline I might get away without an additional slip that would camouflage the hoop skirt. I think the dress is not quite as dark of a purple as in the photos and has a pink purple tone to it but I still think it's beautiful.The timing originally said 6 weeks for shipping but it never came, tracking said it was returned to the seller in transit. Throughout this I was in contact with the seller through the Amazon chat and they were responsive. I cancelled the first order and quickly received a refund but then reordered. They reshipped the dress and I received it quickly with in 2 weeks the second go around. So not the sellers fault but leave plenty of time for shipping. Overall I'm very pleased and can't wait to wear it.
